New ownership
AGRAMKOW is acquired by the Scandinavian investment company Solix Group AB
AGRAMKOW's current owner, the German Dürr Group, today announced that it has agreed to divest AGRAMKOW Fluid Systems A/S and related assets, to the Scandinavian investment company Solix Group AB.
Headquartered in Sønderborg, AGRAMKOW is a global leader in end-of-line solutions for the appliance industry. With its innovative products, AGRAMKOW supports customers in the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump segments become more efficient and transition to modern and natural refrigerants with a lower GWP (global warming potential).
AGRAMKOW A/S has been part of the Dürr Group since 2011. AGRAMKOW’s management and the Dürr Group’s board of directors agree that there are limited synergies between the two entities and that AGRAMKOW would benefit from being stand-alone.
CEO of the Dürr Group, Dr. Jochen Weyrauch states: "AGRAMKOW is a high-performing company, but their business lies outside the Dürr Group's strategic focus area. That is why we have decided to sell. We believe that with another owner, AGRAMKOW will have even better opportunities for growth.”
AGRAMKOW’s management are excited for the future as a standalone company:
"I am very pleased that an agreement has been reached with Solix as the new owner" says CEO of AGRAMKOW, Søren Nielsen. "AGRAMKOW is growing, and we are experiencing a lot of interest in our solutions which help our customers have the optimal production set-up and facilitate the green transition. We have a strong business, but with Solix as the new owner we will be able to continue our growth journey and become an even better partner to our customers”.
The purchase agreement was signed on 25 April 2024. Closing is expected to take place at the end of the second quarter of 2024 once the carve-out process is completed.
